Why this exists

RockQuote was shaped from the ground up in partnership with local ready-mix suppliers in southern Ontario — the kind of family-run operations where the owner still answers the phone and every quote is a custom conversation. That collaboration is what makes RockQuote feel less like generic dispatch software and more like a tool built by people who actually know the business. The product is built around the moments that break in real plants: the Saturday quote that forgets the Saturday premium, the contractor who calls every week asking for the same prices because nobody can find them, the pricing spreadsheet with twelve tabs that one person is afraid to touch. Every feature in RockQuote is there because someone running a plant pointed at their workflow and said this part needs to die.

Who we build for

Independent ready-mix operators, one to five plants, somewhere between 50,000 and 200,000 m³ a year. Owner-operators who still run dispatch themselves, and small teams that share one tangled pricing spreadsheet. The kind of supplier the Canadian Ready-Mixed Concrete Association represents nationally, just at a different operational scale than the enterprise platforms are priced for.

Where the product runs

rockquote.app runs on Google Cloud Firebase. Quote data is stored in Cloud Firestore, encrypted at rest. Each supplier’s tenant is isolated; data is only readable by verified owners or contractors of that tenant.
